Grace Abeel, 89, died Sat, Dec 28, 1985, in the Sanilac Co. Medical Care Facility after an extended illness.
Mrs. Abeel was born Mar 5, 1896 in Ohio. She married Fred Abeel in Carsonville Sep 14, 1914. He died Jun 16, 1965.
She is survived by two sons, Ried Abeel, Carsonville; and Clare Abeel, Grayling; 6 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Wanda Grandy, Port Huron.
One son, Cliff, preceded her in death.
Services were held Tue, Dec 31, 1895 at 2 pm at the Carman Funeral Home, Carsonville. Rev. Mary Neil, pastor of Carsonville United Methodist Church, officiated.
Burial was in Port Sanilac Cemetery.
