Mrs. Goldie Snyder, 80, of 1216 Maryland Ave SW, Canton, was pronounced dead on arrival at Aultman hospital Tue at 3:20 pm after suffering an apparent heart attack in her yard.
Born in Beach City, Mrs. Snyder was a resident of Canton the past 64 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Canton and the Gleaners-Delta Alpha Sunday school class. Her husband, Clarence E Snyder died Sep 11, 1969.
Surviving are a son Lloyd E Snyder of RD 3, Carrollton; two sisters, Mrs. Oda Kalleker of Brewster and Mrs. Evelyn Palm of Canton; a brother, Howard Resh or Massillon; and a grandchild.
The funeral will be held Thu at 1 pm in the Reed Funeral Home, Canton, with the Rev. Robert E Winger, an associate pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Interment will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery, Canton.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 this evening.
