Goldie Marie Fike, 92, formerly of Tonica, died at 4:01pm February 1, 2010, in Manor Court of Peru, where she had resided the past four years.
Funeral services will be at 1am Fri in Tonica United Methodist Church with the Rev. Danira Parra officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Tonica.
Visitation will be 5 to 8pm Thu in Hurst Funeral Home, Tonica, and after 10am Fri in the church.
She was born September 5, 1917, to John and Julia Mae (Bird) Runyon. She married Delbert E. Fike on October 18, 1945.
Mrs. Fike worked in the Seneca Ship Yards and later owned Del’s Cigar Store in Tonica with her husband. She was also a homemaker.
Survivors include one sone, don Fike of Tonica; one daughter, Linda Fike Kaszynski of La Salle; three grandsons, AJ Fike of Galesburg, Aaron Fike of Lafayette, IN, and Travis Kaszynski of Peru; three granddaughters, Heather Kaszynski of LaSalle, Taylor Kaszynski of Iowa City, IO, and Suzanne Fike of Indianapolis, IN; one great granddaughter, Kylie Fike of Galesburg; one nephews; and four nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband don August 3, 1987; three brothers, two sisters, one granddaughter, one nephew and one niece.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are directed to Tonica Fire Department or Tonica United Methodist Church.
