Goldie A. Grambau, 68, of Kalkaska, died Fri, Apr 28, 2000, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Goldie was born in Mishawaka, IN, on Sep 26, 1931, to Frank and Anna May (Hemminger) Prentice Sr. She was married to Marlyn Hathaway in Petosky on Sep 26, 1956. She later married Norman Grambau in Kalkaska on Jun 23, 1972. He preceded her in death on Jun 28, 1993.
Goldie resided in Kalkaska, and then moved to Rogers City where she lived for several years before returning to Kalkaska in 1986. She was a homemaker and worked as a licensed practical nurse at the Little Traverse and Lockwood Hospitals. she enjoyed bowling and bingo.
Surviving are daughters Sue (Gary) Wilson of Rogers City, Marilyn (William) Cordes of Hillman, Julie (Robert) Thornburg of Kalkaska, and Robin (James) Godfrey of Traverse City; brothers Frank Prentice, James Prentice, and Donald Hinds, all of Kalkaska, Ronald Hinds of Grayling, Richard Hinds of Mancelona, and Jerry Hinds, both of Traverse City; sister Bonnie Kalina of Racine, WI; stepbrother Orange Hinds of Traverse City; step sister Pearl Wind of Kalkaska; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were Apr 30 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; E. Dan Johnson officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
