Mrs. Gloria J. Lee, 70, of Rapid City, died Thu, Oct 12, 1995 at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center, Long-term Care Unit.
Mrs. Lee had been a life-long resident of Kalkaska County. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, and traveling.
She was born on Jun 3, 1925, in Gratiot County, to Benjamin and Maude Gibbs Iler. On Dec 2, 1961, in Cedar Springs, she married Lester Lee, who preceded her in death on Dec 2, 1979.
Surviving are four sons, Stanley (Rebecca) Pearson of Kalkaska, Roger (Mary) Pearson of St. Clair Shores, Steven Pearson of Rapid City and Leon (Maxine) Pearson of Cedar Springs; three brothers, Gordon Iler of St. Johns, Denny Iler of Lansing, and Elton Iler of Remus; one sister, Fannie Tait of Remus; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Christopher Pearson.
Funeral services were held Mon, Oct 16, 1995 at the Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. E. Dan Johnson officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
