Glenn Albert Turnipseed, Jr., 61, of Mancelona, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center. He was born on February 21, 1947 in Traverse City to the late Glen and Grace (Finney) Turnipseed.
Glenn retired from Dura in Mancelona after almost 25 years of service. He was a member of the Antrim Church of Christ. Glenn enjoyed vacationing with his family.
He is survived by his loving sons and stepson, Glen Albert Turnipseed III, John Edward Turnipseed, and Robert Kimbler III; his precious grandchild, Kainin Turnipseed; and the mother of his sons, Joanne Turnipseed.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 5, 2008 from 2-6 p.m. at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home in Kalkaska. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mark McCool of the Antrim Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Lodi Cemetery. There will be a luncheon at the church following the funeral service.
