Glenn A. Borror Jr., 64, of Hoagland, passed away Tue, October 25, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital.
Glenn was born Apr 4, 1952, in Wells County to Glenn A. Borror Sr. and Patricia C. Holmes. He married Donna J. Benzinger in Reiffsburg, August 9, 1997; she survives.
He worked at Corning Glass in Bluffton and was a member of the Local Union 103 Heavy Equipment Operators and was disabled for the past 15 years. He was a 1970 graduate of Southern Wells High School and attended Living Water United in Bluffton.
Glenn enjoyed fishing and hunting, was an avid antique collector and had a “great love for animals.”
Survivors include a son, Jamie (Amber) Elzroth of Bluffton; a stepdaughter, Laura (Matthew) Adams of Berne; three grandchildren, Krystal Benzinger, Kyler Adams, and Keaton Adams; two great grandchildren, Xavier and Zyleigh; two brothers, Richard “Rich” (Karla) Borror of Liberty Center, and Randy (Kelly) Borror of Liberty Center; and his mother in law, Doris L. Berzinger of Monroeville.
He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew J. Herring in 2003.
A service will be held at 10:30am Sat October 29 at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel with Pastor Clark Stroller officiating. Calling hours are from 2 to 8pm Fri, October 28, and at 9:30 am to the time of the service Sat at the funeral home. Burial will be at Old Salem Cemetery in Wells County.
