Gladys P Stadler, a resident of Kalkaska since 1977, died Sat, Nov 11, 2000, at her home.
Mrs. Stadler was born in Kimball, SD, to William and Goldie Cornell Ehlers. On Aug 12, 1938, in Plankinton, SD, she was united in marriage to Edwin Stadler. He preceded her in death May 25, 1975.
Mrs. Stadler resided in Detroit prior to moving to Kalkaska, and was a retired General Motors Employee. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and enjoyed traveling.
Surviving are a son Douglass (Starr) Stadler of St. Cloud, FL; daughter, Joan (Bill) Nikischer of Mancelona; siters, Eunice Parriott and Velva Dressen, both, Kimball, SD; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by sister, Edna and stepbrother, Keith.
Funeral services were held at St. Paul Lutheran Nov 14; Rev Ted Turanski officiated. Entombment will be in Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia.
