Gladys B. Sheppard, 92, of Kalkaska, MI, formerly of South Lyon, MI, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2011. Gladys loved being a mom and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She enjoyed baking and canning as well as attending church. She will be dearly missed.
Beloved wife of 73 years to Calvin F. Sheppard; dear mother of Calvin Jr. (Janice) Sheppard, Richard (Carolyn) Shepard, Douglas Sheppard, Judith Prince, Paul Sheppard, Laura Lewis; proud grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 32. Gladys was preceded in death by two of her grandchildren.
The Funeral Service was held on Thu, May 12, 2011, at noon at Oakland Hills Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home.
