Gildard E Kehrberg, 78, of Kalkaska died Fri, Sep 30, 2005, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
He was born on Dec 8, 1926 in Racine, WI, to William and Cecelia (Scholzen) Kehrberg.
Gildard married Marie Spiteri on Jul 26, 1947, in Hillsdale. To this union were born Christina (Randy) Carlson of Vernon Hills, IL, Cyndi Jo (Darrell) Woods of Mt Vernon, IN, Skip (Dale) Kehrberg of Welland, Ontario, Marcia (John) Carrier of Augusta, Paula Kehrberg of Paw Paw, and Toni Kehrberg-Martin of Augusta. He is also survived by six grandchildren-Andrea, Jason, Amber, Celia, Uriah, and Jessica- and a great granddaughter, Haley.
Gildard was preceded in death by his parents.
Gildard retired from General Motors Corp in 1989 after 20 years. He was a member of American Legion Post No 480 in Kalkaska.
A "Celebration of Life" service was scheduled for Mon, Oct 3, at the CETA Hall on Country Rd 612, northeast of Kalkaska.
Arrangements were made by the Wolfe Funeral Home.
