Gearld R. Medley, of Mancelona, 84, passed on to heaven on Jul 18, 2010, to be with his wife, Jean L Medley, who passed on Apr 4, 2010, along with son Robert Lee Medley, who passed on Apr 20, 2008. He had his family by his side.
Gerald was married to Jean for 64 years this coming Sep. He enjoyed gardening, watching ball games, woodworking, and fishing. Jean's hobbies were gardening and doing crafts.
Surviving are Gerald's brothers, Larry (Alice) Medley of Mancelona, Jim Medley of Grand Rapids, and sister in law, Peg Michaels; his daughters, Donna Patrick of Traverse City and Sue K Medley of Mancelona; his three grandchildren, Mary Ann (Tom) Evans of Bellaire, Brian Patrick of Detroit, and Donna Jean Lee of South Boardman. Gerald is also survived by six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He will be loved and missed very much by everyone. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
