Gerald E. Adams, 78, of Mancelona, died Thu, Nov 26, 1992, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Adams moved to Kalkaska County 16 years ago form Plymouth. Prior to his retirement in 1976, he had been employed for 33 years by Evans Products in Plymouth. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spectator sports.
Mr. Adams was born in Monte Vista, CO on Mar 1, 1914, to John Quincy and Jesse Miller Adams. On Sep 23, 1933, in Chanute, Kan he was married to Lucille Joseph who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Gerald L. (and wife, Tyranni) Adams of Irving, TX; two daughters, Mrs. Otto (Darlene) Brantley of Grayling and Mrs. Larry (Berva) Graham of Cambridge, MN; two brothers Ernest Adams of Parsons, KS, and George Adams of Bradenton, FL; one sister, Florence Wiggins of OK; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
One daughter, Geraldine Zoeann, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Mon, Nov 30, 1992, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Duane Eatmon officiated. Burial was in Coldsprings Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
