Georgiana Mae Campbell, 82, of Fife Lake passed away Tue, Feb 13, 2018 at her home. She was born on Aug 27, 1935 in Grayling, MI to the late George and Alberta (Williams) Lutz.
She graduated from Grayling High School and later married her husband Ed Campbell on May 8, 1954 in Grayling. They came over in 1956 when Ed got out of the service and lived at the farm with his dad. In 1963, they moved to Lansing where they were foster parents for 17 years, where they cared for over 100 children. When Ed retired in 1988 both Ed and Georgiana moved back to the farm.
Georgina joined TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensible) chapter in Lansing. Then followed through with the TOPS Chapter in Kalkaska #1304 for several years while being the weight recorder and very active in the chapter. She was a member of the Kalkaska United Methodist Church and a volunteer for KAIR for several years working in the pantry, while she gave food to the needy.
She is survived by her children; Richard Campbell, Connie Campbell, Diane Norman, and David (Eve) Campbell; her grandchildren, Monica (Josh), Cecilia, Tony, Wayne, Wesley, Kayla, Sage, Devon, Ryan, Addison, and Josie; her great grandchildren, Mark, Destin, Jordan, Bieron, Georgiana, and Edward.
Georgiana is preceded in death by her husband Ed Campbell.
A funeral service will be held on Mon, Feb 19, 2018 at 1 pm at Kalkaska United Methodist Church. A burial will take place in the spring.
