Georgia "Margaret" Parker, 92, of Fife Lake died Mon, Jul 19, 2004, at Bortz Health Care in Traverse City.
Formerly of Sigma and Mt. Morris, Parker had been a resident of Fife Lake area since 1971. Margaret was a member of the Fife Lake United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and a member of the Kalkaska Hospital Auxiliary.
She enjoyed painting, china painting, ceramics, gardening and berry picking.
Margaret was born Feb 28, 1912, in Beloit, WI. In Jan 1932 in Flint, she married Charles Wilbur Parker, who preceded her in death on Feb 24, 1966.
Surviving are three children, George (Donna) Parker of Eastport, Eilene Mark of Fife Lake, Jean (Clarence Swartwood of Prescott; a sister, Alta Spencer of Swartz Creek; brother, Chris (Janie) Loveland of Millington; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, and son in law, Harlon Mark.
Memorial services will be held at the Fife Lake United Methodist Church on Thu, Jul 22, 2004, at 11 am. The Rev. Rick Carpenter will officiate the services.
Arrangements are by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City.
