Mrs. Georgia J. Thornburg, 59, of Lakeview died Feb 2, 1995, at Butterworth Memorial Hospital in Grand Rapids.
She had been a resident of Lakeview since 1960, when she moved from Kalkaska. She retired from Atron and High-Q after more than 15 years of service.
Born in Kalkaska County on Jan 15, 1936, she was the daughter of Solomon and Ella (Nelson) Riley. On Jul 2, 1960 in Greenville, she married Charles Thornburg, who survives.
Also surviving are one sons, Thomas Thornburg of Lakeview; three daughters, Anna (Wayne) Bucholtz of Pierson, Robin Lamb of Lakeview, and Betty Jo Thornburg of Fenwick; two brothers, Dan Riley of Sherwood, Jay Riley of Black Rock, AR; five sisters, Adeline Youdes and Mary Tenny both of Battle Creek, Glenna Thornburg of Athens, Veretta Hollister of Bellevue, and Elma Wahley of East Leroy; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sat, Feb 4, 1995, at the Youngman-McCullough Funeral Chapel in Lakeview. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Langston.
