Georgetta A. Pflum, 78, of Kalkaska, died Wed, Jul 28, 1999, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Pflum was born in Kalkaska County on Nov 26, 1920, the daughter of the late Charles and Clara Detzler Wagonschutz. On Dec 28, 1940, in Mancelona, she married William A. Pflum.
A lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, Mrs. Pflum was a member of St Mary of the Woods Catholic Church and the Altar Society, the Eve Club, and a life member of Land O'Lakes VFW Post 8684 Auxiliary. She formerly served as Excelsior Township Clerk and was active in 4-H . She was an excellent seamstress and upholsterer.
Surviving are husband William; daughters Bonnie Grisham of Canton, NY, Barbara Weinrick of Marquette, Judy Prokup and Sue Tanner, both of Kalkaska, and Sandra Tanner of St. Louis;
brother Russell Wagonschutz of DeWitt; sister Bertha Heaton of Englewood, FL; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Four brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Jul 31 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church; Father Jim Holtz officiated. Burial was in Excelsior Township Cemetery.
