George Tracey, 77, of Manton died Mon, Jul 18, 1994, at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac.
He had been a patient at Lakeview Lutheran Manor in Cadillac.
Mr. Tracey was born Jan 19, 1917, in Ft. Wayne, IN to Harry and Bessie (Pettybone) Tracey. He grew up in Ft. Wayne and moved to South Boardman area with his family in 1931. He worked as a pulp wood cutter and operated a farm in South Boardman until moving to Manton in 1968.
Surviving are one sister, Mary Ferris of Rapid City; one sister-in-law, Grace Tracey of Manton; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Henry, Richard, Charles, Marshal, and Walter; and two sisters, Nettie and Dorothy.
Funeral services were held at Hall Funeral Chapel in Manton on Thu, Jul 21, with Rev. Dan Hemmes officiating. Burial was in South Boardman Cemetery.
