George Pavleas, bar operator
Services for George Pavleas, operator of Big George’s Lounge, 25 E. Grand River, will be at 10:30 am. Friday at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 707 E Lafayette.
Mr. Pavleas, 53, died Monday in Deaconess Hospital. He had operated the downtown tavern for eight years and had been in the business for 20 years.
He is survived by three sons, James, Leslie, and George Jr., three sisters and one grandchild.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
