George Stock, 81, of 4744 Lippincott Rd. died Friday at Lapeer Hospital.
Mr. Stock was born May 5, 1883 in Elba Township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stock. He was a farmer in that township all his life and also did threshing machine work.
He married Isabelle Phillips, May 11, 1910 in Lapeer. She preceded him in death Oct 3, 1964.
Funeral services were held Monday from the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Lapeer. The rev. Charles Goentges officiated with burial in Mt. Loretto Cemetery. Rosary devotions were said Sunday evening at Muir Brothers Funeral Home.
Surviving are 2 sons, Frank of Imlay City and Leo of Lapeer; 1 daughter, Mrs. Helen Esper of Flint; 1 broter. J. J. Stock of Tucson, Arizona; 2 sisters, Mrs. George Halpin and Florence Stock both of Lapeer, and 21 grandchildren.
