Mrs. Geneva E. Branderhorst, 96, of Kalkaska, died Wed, Jan 13, 1993, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Branderhorst had been a resident of Kalkaska County for the past 54 years, and was a member of the Peoples Church. She enjoyed reading.
She was born in South Holland, IL on Jul 28, 1896, to John and Gertie Jacobs VanZanten. On Jul 8, 1931, in South Holland, she was married to Ralph Branderhorst who died on Jun 19, 1976.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, John Branderhorst.
Surviving are two grandchildren, Robert Branderhorst of Texas and Ann Massarello also of Texas; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sat, Jan 16, 1993, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev Paul Karges, pastor of the Peoples Church, officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
