Mrs. Gayle M. Irish, 51, of Fife Lake, died Wed, Jul 10, 1991, at Munson Medical Center following a long illness.
Mrs. Irish moved to the Fife Lake area in 1970. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Kalkaska, and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She was born in Marlette on Jun 13, 1940 to Howard and Bernice Gould Hickie. On Nov 29, 1957, in Imlay City, she was married to Larry W. Irish who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Thomas Irish of Long Beach, CA; two daughters, Tammy J Vandergriff of Rapid City, and Tina Jones of Lexington, KY; one brother, John Hickie of Lapeer; one sister, Jill Goben of Grayling; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services were held Sat, Jul 13, 1991, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska, Rev. Dan Davis, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Garfield Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
