Gary R. Young, 68, lifetime resident of Lapeer, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011 at Brian’s House in Davison. He was born September 26, 1942, in Lapeer, son to Russell and Clara (Swain) Young. He married Dee Reno in Kalkaska on October 26, 1964.
He retired from Sea Ray Boats after 26 years of service. He traveled throughout the country to pursue his hobbies; fishing and hunting. He had a great love for his family.
Gary is survived by his wife Dee of Lapeer; sons, Tony (Larissa) of Montana, Nick (Dotty) of Montana; daughters, Lisa (Dirk) of New York, Andrea of Lapeer; and 13 grandchildren, Derek, Monique, Colin, Bryan, Nathan, Wyatt, Cirenia, Lucas, Liam, Ethan, Zoe, Zachary, and Bren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Janet; niece Linda; and nephew, Steven.
