Gale Louise Gordy, six month old daughter of Samuel C. and Betty Jean (Silvers) Gordy of 72 Pickford Ave., was found dead in her crib at the residence Sunday morning. A medical examiner said death resulted from suffocation. The child had been under the treatment of a physician for a cold. She was born in Battle Creek last Oct 21.
Surviving are a sister, Patricia Doll, 2 1/2 ; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Gordy of 653 Marie Ave; her maternal grandparents William Silvers of 50 Avenue B and Mrs. Richard (Edna) Fuller of 444 Elm St, and her paternal great grandmother, Mrs. Jane Morgan of Bradenton, FL.
