Fred O. Proctor of Fife Lake died Sun, January 19, 1997 at home. He was 81.
He was born May 25, 1915 in Bloomfield Township, Missaukee County to Fred A. and Lulu (Lanning) Proctor.
Mr. Proctor grew up in Bloomfield Township and had been a resident of the Manton and Fife Lake areas most of his life.
He worked as a farmer for many years and also worked in defense plants during the war. He enjoyed hunting and gardening.
Survivors include sisters, Virgie Snyder and Ida Elhe, both of Lake City and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Pete, Earl, Cameron, and Everett.
Visitation is 2-9pm today at Hall Funeral Chapel in Manton.
Burial will be in the spring in Bloomfield Township Cemetery.
