Frederick Lee Martindale, 61, of Kalkaska passed away suddenly on May 21, 2004 in Indiana.
Born on Dec 11, 1942 in Grayling, he was the son of Fred and Ella (Smith) Martindale.
Frederick attended Rapid City High School. He married Geraldine Leach on Dec 21, 1965, in Pontiac. Frederick enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving Frederick is his loving family, Jerri, his wife of 38 years; his children, Chris L (Greg) Medell of Grand Haven, Ray E (Shawn Baker) Martindale of Rapid City, Laura E Martindale of Plymouth, and Leon H Martindale of Kalkaska; 15 grandchildren; his sisters, Ella May (Leo) Barber of Alden, Opal (Don) Chelson of Williamsburg and Deloris Miller of Kalkaska, and his sister in laws, Shirley Weiss and Betty Martindale.
Frederick was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Bill Stephenson and Jerry Martindale.
The funeral service was held May 28 at the Wolfe Funeral Home, with the Pastor Robert C. Saxton officiating from Spencer Church of Christ.
Interment was at Evergreen Cemetery.
