Freda A. Galehouse, 92, of Kalkaska, passed away on Dec 4, 2005, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Long Term Care.
Born on Oct 14, 1913, in Covert, she was the daughter of Arzie and Ola (Bower) Goodrich.
Freda graduated from Decatur High School in 1933. She married Clark W. Galehouse on Sep 14, 1933, in South Bend, IN and he preceded her in death.
Freda retired from SS Kreske after 25 years of service. She was a lifelong resident of Whitmore Lake. She enjoyed bingo and was the past president of the Whitmore Lake Woman's Club. Freda attended Evergreen Bible Baptist Church.
Surviving Freda are her daughters, Mary Lou (Tom) Clark of Kalkaska, and Lois Packard of Brighton; three grandchildren; four step grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wed, Dec 7, from 2 to 8 pm at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. The funeral service will be on Thu, Dec 8, at 1 pm at the Evergreen Bible Baptist Church, with the Rev. William Kuiper officiating. Burial will be at Arborcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Ann Arbor.
