Fred C. Andretta, 65, former Great Falls resident, died Christmas Eve in Seattle after a short illness.
He was the son of Fred C and Mary Andretta, early day Great Falls residents. He was a member of the Great Falls High School football varsity. After graduation from high school and the University of Southern California, he attended the Naval Flight School at Pensacola, FL, during WWII and served as a flight commander in the Navy. He remained in the Naval Reserve for many years while engaged in the insurance business in Seattle. He retired after 30 years' service with Massachusetts Life Insurance Co.
His wife Eleanor, died several years ago. His survivors include his sister, Beth Iverson of Del Monte, CA; daughters, Mrs. Michael (Karen) Green of Phoenix, AZ, and Mrs. Michele Tuten of Seattle and five grandchildren.
