Frank W. Hobson, 65, of 919 Seventh St, died Tue, Aug 12, 1986, in Port Huron Hospital.
He was born Apr 10, 1921 in Port Huron, where he lived all of his life. He married Mary Gragg in 1970 in Detroit.
Mr. Hobson was a member of Charles Schoor Post 796, VFW, Charles A Hammond Post 8, American Legion, and St Clair County Voiture 120, 40 & 8.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Hobson, and three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Dawn Marie) Stein, Mrs. Frederick (Sue Ann) Davidson, and Mrs. Donald (Rose Marie) Kota, all of Port Huron; five sons, Frank Hobson , South Branch, Roger Hobson, Berrion Springs, Terry and David Hobson, both of Carson City, and Karl Hobson, Iron Mountain; 15 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Gunther, Port Huron, and Mrs. John (Ella) Evoy, Canada; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at 11 am Fri in the Arthur Smith Funeral Home – South Chapel. Burial will be in Allied Veterans Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John, Virgil, James, Lance, and Damlan Stein and Ronald Hobson.
Visiting is from 6 to 9 pm today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Thursday.
