DEATH: 14 Feb 1949 Columbus, Franklin, Ohio

Unconscious since last Jul 22, when he suffered a skull fracture and broken leg in a traffic accident, Frank R Fenstermaker, 58, Pickerington grocer, died at 3:30 am today in Grant Hospital, Columbus.

Fenstermaker, who was manager of the Clover Farm market in Pickerington, was injured when the are he was driving collided with an auto driven by Miss Betty Foster, Lithopolis, at the Intersection of Brice Pike and Shannon Rd near Brice.

Miss Foster, who was severely injured in the crash, recovered and is now employed at the Bolenbaugh Hardware Co, Canal Winchester.

Mr. Fenstermaker, who was a member of Pickerington Lions Club, is survived by his widow, Florence; three sons: Frank W and Norman K, both of Pickerington, and James T of Columbus; four daughters: Mrs. Richard Torrence, Lancaster, Mrs. Charles Crampton, Columbus, Mrs. Ellie Blevins, Reynoldsburg, and Patricia Ann Fenstermaker of the home; his father, W.E. Fenstermaker, Pickerington; one brother, Omar of Worthington; and two sisters: Mrs. Roy Weaver, Buckeye Lake, and Mrs. William Spears, Pickerington.

Friends may call at the J.E. Grimes and Son funeral home until 5 pm Tue when the body will be returned to the Fenstermaker home.

Services will be held Wed morning, the hour to be announced later, in St Mary’s Church, South Third St, Columbus. Burial is to be made in St Joseph’s Cemetery, south of Columbus.
