Frank R. Giles Jr., 54, of Kalkaska, died Sep 1, 2001, at McLaren Hospital in Flint.
He was born Nov 6, 1946, to Francis and Elizabeth (Lardie) Giles, Sr. in Traverse City.
Mr. Giles lived in Kalkaska since 1990. He attended Michigan State University and obtained a short degree in his major of horticulture. He was employed by Beaver Log Homes as a mill hand. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed muscle and classic cars, and gardening. He was a good friend to everyone.
He is survived by his loving family, wife, Glory of 17 years; sons, Chip (Kelly) Morgan of Winter Haven, FL, David (Missy) Morgan of Kalkaska; granddaughter Brittney Morgan of Winter Haven, FL; sisters, Mary Jane (Louis) Hoolihan of Traverse City, Kathy (Ronald) Schwartz of Berne, IN; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Sep 3 at the Wolfe Funeral Home. Funeral services were on Sep 4 at Calvary Baptist Church in Kalkaska; Pastor Matt Moser officiating. Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
Arrangements were made by the Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
