Stock, Frank J., age 70, of Lapeer, died in his sleep after a short bout with pneumonia at the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor on Thursday, October 13, 1988. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 15, 10 am at the Immaculate Conception Church in Lapeer. There will be a Rosary Service on Friday evening at 7 pm with Fr. (Doc) Ortman officiating. Burial in Mt. Loretto Cemetery. Mr. Stock was a life long resident of Lapeer County. He had served with the United States Army 11th Infantry for 3 years during World War II. He returned to Lapeer and married his wife Irene who survives him. Frank worked for the Department of Agriculture Soil Conservation Service and farmed for 30 years before retiring. After his retirement he continued with a career as a realtor for Scrimger-Earl. Keim Agency until the present. He was an active member of the Immaculate Conception Church of Lapeer serving on the Parish Council, he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Lapeer County Board of Realtors and the Lions club.
Frank is survived by wife: Irene, 4 children: Terry, Cindy, Sally Miler and Fred; 2 grandsons: Erik and Christopher; sons-in-law: Scott Huelga and Jim Miller, 1 brother James Leo Stock.
