Frank Gagacki, 65, of Kalkaska, died Sat, Mar 4, 2000, at Mercy Hospital in Grayling.
Mr. Gagacki resided in Taylor until five years ago when he moved to Kalkaska County. Prior to his retirement he was a machinist at Ford Motor Company for 29 years. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the Polish American Legion. He enjoyed traveling, reading, movies, and collecting baseball cards.
Mr. Gagacki was born in Detroit on Sep 8, 1934, to Stanley and Stella Wroblewski Gagacki. He was married to Hazel Pearson in Lincoln Park. She died on Jun 21, 1995.
Surviving are sons Frank (Sue) Gagacki II of Taylor, William Gagacki of Kalkaska and jeffery (Marlene) Gagacki of Livonia; daughters Karen (Thomas) Neal of Plymouth, Linda Gagacki of Kalkaska, and Patricia Gagacki of Taylor; brother Stanley Gagacki of Dearborn; sisters Helen Kaminski of Dearborn Heights, Irene Rucinski of Warren and Mary Ann Trezil of Dearborn Heights; and eight grandchildren.
Brother Joseph Gagacki and sister Frances Feltmate, preceded him in death.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Mar 7 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Kalkaska; Father Jim Holtz was the celebrant. Inurnment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Assoc. Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
