Francis E. Wright, 73, of Saginaw and formerly of Gladwin, died Mon, Jun 9, at his home after a long illness.
Born in Gladwin Oct 11, 1912, he was a member of the Shields Men’s Club in Saginaw. Mr. Wright was employed at Grey Iron Foundry in Saginaw for 34 years until retiring in 1971.
Mr. Wright and the former Effie Foote were married December 11, 1937.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters, Ceva Swan of Marquette and Lynn Drake of Saginaw, 2 sons, Lee of Saginaw and Brian of Clare, one brother, Clarence of Saginaw, 3 sisters Ruth Frye of VA, Helen Roe of Saginaw, and Doris Mann of Port Huron, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Two brothers and 5 sisters preceded him in death.
Rites will be held Thu at 1pm from the W.L. Case Funeral Home, Saginaw. Lyle Foote will officiate and burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the VNA Hospice of Sagianw or the Michigan Parkinson Foundation.
