Mrs. Frances "Granny" Ayers, 89, formerly of Rockford, MI, went home to be with the Lord on Sun, Jun 30, 1996 in Kalkaska. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray on Dec 7, 1966.
She will be remembered for her many hours of volunteer work in the Rockford Public Schools. Surviving are her daughters, Betty June and James McMaster of Ludington and Joyce Ayers Hendricks of Kalkaska, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
The service for Granny will be Jul 3, at 2:30 pm at Grace Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Robert Baker officiating. Interment will be in Rockford Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Pederson Funeral Home in Rockford.
