Frances E. Burnett, 66, died Sun, Feb 2, 1992 at Flint Osteopathic Hospital after a long illness.
A Kalkaska native, she had lived in the Marlette area for the past eight years. She retired from C & O Railroad Maritime Division after many years of service. She was an accomplished musician playing guitar with the Has Beens. She was a foster grandparent and very active in the Marlette First Presbyterian Church.
Born in Kalkaska on Sep 19, 1925, she was the daughter of the Arthur and Minnie (Andersen) Burnett.
Surviving are two sisters, Lois Pringle of Marlette and Geraldine Storey of Lapeer; a brother Charles R Burnett of Alabama and many loving nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Services were held at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette on Feb 6. Rev. John R. Allan officiated.
A second funeral service was held in Kalkaska at the Wolfe Funeral Home on Feb 7 with interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
