Forrest L Bissett, 57, of Mancelona, died Wed, Dec 3, 1997, at Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord.
Mr. Bissett moved to Kalkaska County seven years ago from Reed City, At the time of his death, he was employed by Force Energy, Inc. in Gaylord. He enjoyed golf, hunting, and going to the casino.
Mr. Bissett was born in Evart on Feb 21, 1940. He married Leola Phelps in Reed City on Jan 5, 1985.
Surviving are his wife Leola; sons Gordon (Melanie) Bissett of Evart, Michael (Tammy) McKee of Fife lake and Tony (Jacqueline) McKee of Hersey; daughters Deborah Hill of Greeley, CO, Rhonda (Randy) Logan of Mancelona and Cindy (Michael) Stoops of Kalkaska; brothers Fredrick (Violet) Bissett and Norman (Carol) Bissett, both of Evart; sisters Grace Alberts and Mildred (Willis) Morse, both of Evart; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A brother, Orville, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Dec 6 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Leon Boyce officiated. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
