Floyd R. Clark, 83, of Fife Lake, died Thu, Dec 12, 1996, at Birchwood Nursing Center in Traverse City.
Mr. Clark had been a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, and was a retired farmer and logger. He was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in South Boardman, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Clark was born in Kalkaska County on Sep 8, 1913, to Raymond and Ethel McLaughlin Clark. On April 8, 1939, in South Boardman he was married to Edith Schelske who survives.
Also surviving are sons Kenneth Clark of Lincoln, NE, and Karl Clark of Milford, NE; daughters Maxine Pearson and Donna Reed both of Sand Lake, and Cheryl Prentice of South Boardman; sisters Gladys Cross of Kalkaska and Beulah McClure of Glendale, AZ; 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
One infant son, brothers Glenn and Lester Clark, and sister Mary Micknal preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Mon, Dec 15, 1996, at the Victory Baptist Church in South Boardman. Rev. William McQueen officiated. Burial was in Garfield Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County. Arrangements by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
