Floyd L. Hayward, 79, died Thursday in the Pontiac General Hospital after a long illness.
He was born Feb. 10, 1899, in Brown City, where he was a former resident.
Mr. Hayward was a lifelong member of the Missionary Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ula; two sons, Milford and Leonard Hayward; four daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Alice) Shue, Mrs. Donald (Joyce) Reichard, Mrs. Julian (Eunice) Baker, and Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Jimerson; 17 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Evergreen Cemetery, Brown City.
