Floyd A. Hamilton, 78, a lifelong resident of Kalkaska, died Wed, Dec 11, 1991 at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center. 

Mr. Hamilton had served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

He was born in Kalkaska County on Jun 16, 1913, son of the late John and Mary White Hamilton. He was married in 1935, in Mancelona, to Nellie Tanner who survives. 

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Peck of Traverse City and Manna Meae Kiel of Kalkaska; two sisters, Ella Easley of Grand Rapids adn Lila Weigert of Henderson, NV; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Two sisters, Orpha Hicking and Ada Campbell preceded him in death. 

Funeral services were held Sat, Dec 14, 1991, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. E. Dan Johnson, pastor of the Kalkaska Church of Christ, officiated. Burial was in Oliver Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
