Flossie Esther Mosher passed away Dec 17, 1999, at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire after a brief illness due to heart difficulties.
She was well known for her creative talents of tatting, crocheting, quilting, crafting and working with her flowers when her health allowed. Her friends and family who added to her known collection of vinegar cruets also appreciated her homemade Syrian cooking. Over the years she enjoyed bowling, fishing, and sharing, Huckleberry pies with others.
Mrs. Mosher was born Apr 7, 1912, to Joseph and Iva (Finney) Mariage. Both preceded her in death. She married Aaron Mosher on Mar 2, 1932, in Circleville, OH. He preceded her in death on Dec 27, 1975. They became the parents of three children, Mrs. Geraldine Hoyt of Port Angeles, WA, Norman Mosher of Pittsburgh, PA, and Virgil Mosher who preceded her in death. She was one of ten children. Brothers George, Jim, Melvin, and John, as well as sisters Mary Aborizk, Rose Timmons and Blanche Johnson preceded her in death.
She is survived by sisters Plumie Waginger of Huntington, WV, and Mrs. Alberta Robinson of Rapid City; eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives and special friends.
Funeral services were Dec 21at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Interment will be at the Clearwater Township Cemetery in Rapid City.
