Florence M. Wright, 82, Ada, died Sunday, June 26, 2005 at Lost Creek Care Center, Lima. She was born Dec 5, 1922 in Hardin County to Archie and Alice E. (Kuhn) Staley, who are deceased.
She married Ralph E. Wright on Aug. 11, 1945 and he died April 16, 2001. Surviving are two sons: Al (Patricia) Wright of Ada and Wayne (Sathit) of California City, CA; one sister, Dorothy O’Brien of Ada; four grandchildren: Ralph, Somkid, Benjamin and Lee Ellen and two great-grandchildren: Frederick and Cale.
She was preceded in death by one brother, John Staley and a sister, Mary Humphrey.
Florence was a homemaker. She was a member of the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church, Ada. Florence was also a member of the Hardin County Senior Citizens; Golden Sheaf, Liberty Grange and the American Legion Auxiliary #185.
In memory of Ralph the omission of ties is requested. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 1 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, with Rev. Ronald Weihrauch and The Reverend G. Alan Brown II O.S.L. officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 30 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, and until time of service on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Sugar Grove United Methodist Church, Ada and/or Hardin County Council on Aging, Kenton.
