Mrs. Florence M. Lumbert, 82, of Kalkaska, died Thu, Mar 7, 1996, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Lumbert had been a longtime resident of Kalkaska and for many years was employed by Kalkaska Memorial Health Center. She was affiliated with Calvary Baptist Church, and enjoyed embroidery.
Born in Jackson on Sep 26, 1913, she was the daughter of Marvin and Hattie Dent Dennis.
She was married to Harold Darling who preceded her in death. On Apr 10, 1965, in Kalkaksa, she married Kenneth Lumbert. He died on Jan 21, 1979.
Surviving are one sister, Fayola Dodge of Eaton Rapids; her close friend Susan Titus and her children Erika Lynn and Matthew Allen II of Kalkaska; and several nieces and nephews.
No services are planned.
