Florence L Hill, 84, passed away Wed, Feb 3, at Adams County Memorial Hospital in Decatur.
Born in Michigan, Florence worked as a chef with Lambros Restaurant for 15 years before retiring in 1998.
Florence loved her family, and it was her first priority in life. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, and doll making.
Surviving are her daughters, Patricia Moore of Orland, IN, Rose Barbee of New Orleans, and Lisa Smead of Ft Wayne; son John F Cook of Fowlerville; brothers, Avery Earl (Sally) Magley of Lagrange, Patrick (Bertha) Magley of Kingsley, and Randall Magley of Kalkaska. She is additionally survived by seven grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents, William and C. Rose Magley; husbands, Scott Cook and Ralph Hill; and six brothers.
Service was 2 pm Sat at the D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home.
Visitation was also sat from noon to 2 pm.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
