Fern Jenkins Bogue, 98, died Mar 20, 2000, at Eustis, FL.
Mrs. Bogue was born Mar 7, 1902, in Kalkaska, the daughter of John and Sarah Jenkins. She was a 1919 graduate of Kalkaska High School.
An Alumna of Central Michigan University and Eastern Michigan University, she was a school teacher, retiring from Okemos Public Schools in 1965. She and her husband moved to New Port Richey, FL, in 1970, where they lived until his death in 1974. She was a member of the Community Methodist Church in Holiday, FL. She spent the last six years of her life in Eustis.
Survivors include her son John and his wife Phyllis of Tavares, FL; grandchildren Donna Huston of Martensdale, IA, Sara Watson of Falls Church, VA, Barbara Sanders of Fayetteville, GA, Roy Bogue of Tavernier, FL, Charles Bogue of Miami, FL and Angela Bogue of Jacksonville, FL; and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years. Rolland M Bogue, and by all five of her brothers and sisters.
Funeral arrangements were handled by North/Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery in New Port Richey, FL.
