SERVICES HELD FOR EVERTON WAGAR
Everton Wagar, 84, of Gladwin, died in the Gladwin Hospital Thursday, May 22, following a long illness.
Born in Tamworth, Ont., on May 1, 1885, he came to Gladwin with his parents at the age of three. Mr. Wagar was a retired farmer and also served as sexton of the Butman Cemetery for many years.
He was married to the former Clara Westover on Oct. 13, 1909, in Gladwin. Besides his wife, he is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Miner Funeral Home. The Rev. G. G. Lyons officiated and burial was in the Butman Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 5-28/1969
