Everett S. Parritt, 67, of Kalkaska, died Thu, Dec 22, 1994, at his residence.
Born in Herrin, IL on Dec 29, 1926, he was the son of Michael and Stella Pannus Parritt. On Sep 10, 1949, in Flint, he was united in marriage with Barbara Nation.
Mr. Parritt served in the U.S. Navy during WW2, and was employed by General Motors in Flint prior to his retirement in 1980. He had resided in Fife Lake until five years ago when he moved to Kalkaska. He enjoyed carpentry, playing the guitar, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara; two sons, Richard of Fife Lake and Everett (Buddy) of Kalkaska; three daughters, Arlene Markus, Brenda Rogers, and Tina Szymchack all of Kalkaska; one brother, Robert Parritt of Hale; one sister, Anna May Valentine of Flint; 10 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
One daughter, Judy Ann, preceded him in death in 1962.
Funeral services were held Sat, Dec 24, 1994, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Richard Jones officiated. Burial was in Fife Lake Cemetery, Fife Lake.
