Mrs. Evelyn B. Brucker, 86, of Mancelona, died Sunday afternoon, Dec 13, 1992 at her residence.
Mrs. Brucker moved to Kalkaska County 29 years ago from Lyons, IL. She was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church.
Mrs. Brucker was born in Chicago, IL on Feb 15, 1906 to Philip and Margaret Casper Zace. On Jun 4, 1927, in Lyons, she was united in marriage with John H. Brucker who preceded her in death on Nov 17, 1989.
Surviving are three sons, John L. Brucker of Mancelona, Philip Brucker of Las Vegas, NV, and Robert Brucker of Kalamazoo; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
One brother, Arthur Zace and one sister, Myrtle Fredericks, preceded her in death.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wed, Dec 16, 1992 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Fr. Patrick J. Barrett officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
The Rosary was recited at the funeral home on Tue.
