Eva Mae Eymer, 99, passed away on Mon, Apr 21, 2008 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on Feb 4, 1909 in Whittemore to Joseph and Julia (Scripture) Chipps. She married George Eymer on Mar 31, 1929. They opened and operated a hardware and furniture store in Kalkaska for 20 years. She also, over the years, taught school. She was an avid reader, played the piano, enjoyed painting and loved playing bridge.
Eva is survived by her son, George Tim (Diane) Eymer of Ponte Vedra, FL; grandson, Dean Sieting; granddaughter, Leslie Newman; great grandsons, Terry Dean and Eathan; great granddaughters, Grace and Isabella and niece, Theda Goodrich.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband George Eymer; daughter, Buff Kay Sieting; and brother, Charles Chipps.
Graveside services will be held on Fri, Jul 11, 2008 at noon at the Kalkaska Township Cemetery in Kalksaska.
