Eugene O. Anderson, 60, of Kalkaska died Sat, Mar 14, 1992 at his residence.
Mr. Anderson graduated from Kalkaska High School in 1949, worked as a crane operator for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and retired in 1973. He was a member of the Kalkaska V.F.W. Post and was Post Commander.
He was born on Oct 13, 1931, in Kalkaska County, to Oscar E. and Eva F. Vipond Anderson. On Aug 12, 1978, in Kalkaska, he married Sara Meredith, who preceded him in death on Oct 31, 1990.
Surviving are one son, Bryan Anderson of Sheridan; one daughter, Valerie Reynolds of Kalkaska; three step-sons, John Meredith of Grayling, David Meredith of Sanford and William Meredith of Palm Springs, CA; two brothers, Norman Anderson of South Boardman and Melvin Anderson of South Lyons; one sister, Thelma Odiorne of Kalkaska and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sat, Mar 21, 1992 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Michael Steere officiated. Cremation followed the funeral service.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Spencer Church of Christ or the Evergreen Bible Baptist Church.
