Mrs. Jean Stacy Burns, 74, of 607 N. Signal St., Ojai, died Saturday in a local convalescent home after a long illness.
Born July 18, 1887 in Peoria, IL, Mrs. Burns had lived in the county for eight years. She had been a medical secretary.
Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Elanor Rupp, Ojai, and Mrs. Betty Denning, Altadena; son, Richard M. Burns, Bakersfield; and 10 grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Glendale, with the Rev. Sidney E. Sweet, All Saints Episcopal Church, Pasadena, officiating. Clausen Funeral Home, Ojai, is in charge of local arrangements.
